Kalutara Bodhiya & Gangatilaka Vihara

The only hollow stupa in the world you can walk inside, its interior ringed with 74 painted panels telling the life of the Buddha. It stands where the Kalu Ganga meets the sea, and almost every Sri Lankan driver heading south stops to drop a coin at the gate for a safe journey.
