It is a prominent peak in the Central Highlands and plays a crucial role as a government and military communications hub. Due to its strategic importance, the summit is a restricted military zone and not open to the public. However, the surrounding Pidurutalagala Conservation Forest offers visitors the chance to experience the region’s rich biodiversity and enjoy scenic views of the lush highlands.
