Ravana Falls

A 25-metre cascade falling in a broad oval directly beside the Wellawaya road, which is why it is one of the most visited waterfalls in the country. In the Ramayana this is where Ravana is said to have hidden Sita in the caves behind. Come at seven; by nine there are coaches, monkeys and men selling king coconut.
