Ambalangoda Mask Museum & Workshop

Ambalangoda is the home of Sri Lankan devil-dance masks, and the Ariyapala workshop has been carving kaduru wood here for five generations. The museum explains what each mask is for, the eighteen sanni masks each treat a specific affliction, and the workshop behind lets you watch one being cut and painted.
