Fort Frederick

Fort Frederick, located in Trincomalee on Sri Lanka’s northeast coast, is a historic 17th-century fortress built by the Portuguese and later expanded by the Dutch and British. Situated on Swami Rock, it offers stunning views of Trincomalee Bay and houses the rebuilt Koneswaram Temple within its walls.
