Brackish lagoons and mangrove behind the coast road, worked by catamaran with a local guide. Over 150 species including greater flamingo, black-necked stork, and in the northern winter a full cast of migratory waders. A fraction of the cost of a Bundala jeep and, for birds, frequently better.
