Medirigiriya Vatadage

A 7th-century circular relic house on a low rock, with three concentric rings of stone columns and four Buddhas facing the cardinal points. Arguably better preserved and certainly better sited than the famous Vatadage in Polonnaruwa town, and you will very likely be the only person there.
