Okanda Murugan Kovil

A small clifftop kovil where the god Murugan is said to have landed, and the last staging post on the Pada Yatra — the foot pilgrimage that walks 400 km down the east coast to Kataragama each July, through Kumana's wilderness. Outside the pilgrimage it is deserted.
