A ten-kilometre run of reef and beach breaks that has quietly become the south's real surf centre while Weligama takes the beginners. Kabalana's The Rock is a punchy A-frame for experienced surfers; Marshmallows and Insight are forgiving. The village behind has filled with specialty coffee, yoga shalas and surf-house rentals.
