Arankele Forest Monastery

A 6th-century forest hermitage of the same austere school as Ritigala — long stone meditation paths under high canopy, double-platform structures, a monks' bathing pond, and no ornament of any kind. Deeply quiet, and rarely more than a handful of visitors.
