Casuarina Beach

Casuarina Beach, located on the Karainagar Island near Jaffna, is one of the most beautiful and serene beaches in northern Sri Lanka. Known for its soft white sand, shallow turquoise waters, and the shady casuarina trees lining the shore, it offers a perfect setting for relaxation and safe swimming. Unlike the more crowded southern beaches, Casuarina Beach remains relatively untouched, making it a peaceful retreat for both local and foreign tourists. The calm, clear waters stretch far into the sea, allowing visitors to walk a long distance into the ocean with ease. Ideal for picnics, sunbathing, and enjoying quiet sunsets, Casuarina Beach is a hidden gem that showcases the natural charm of Jaffna’s coastline.
